Proffitt Dixon Partners also made various improvements to the property after acquisition.
Proffitt Dixon Partners acquired the property in 2009, and sold the property in 2012 to a private investor.

Located 2.5 miles north of UNC Chapel Hill’s main campus and across the street from UNC’s planned Carolina North campus. Timber Hollow is a fully amenitized garden style apartment community featuring an outdoor multi-level pool with waterfall, tennis courts. Proffitt Dixon Partners made significant structural repairs significant amenity improvements including doubling the size of the fitness center and converting a closed
racquetball court into an indoor basketball court.
Proffitt Dixon Partners acquired the property in 2010, sold it in 2012 to an investment fund.
Rock Creek Apartments
Carrboro, NC
A fully amenitized apartment community on 13.2 acres. Proffitt Dixon Partners made extensive renovations to the amenity areas of Rock Creek including a full redesign of the large clubhouse that includes a pool table,
large TVs, business center, and lounge. The fitness center was doubled in size and fully refreshed.
Proffitt Dixon Partners acquired the property in 2009, and sold the property in 2012 to a private investor.
